How VITALIS Condoms are Made
High-quality raw latex, stabilizers, and finely dispersed vulcanization chemicals are homogenized and then placed in a maturation container. After a specified maturation time, this latex mixture is directed into the dipping tanks of the production facility. Glass molds attached to an endless chain are passed through two dipping tanks sequentially, forming a thin latex film on the molds. The thickness of this film depends on the viscosity of the dipping mixture and the chain speed. Rotating brushes form a rim on the dried raw condoms. They then pass through the vulcanization zone, where the latex film gains strength through the cross-linking of rubber molecules. Before stripping off the glass molds with parallel brushes, the condoms are loosened in a hot water bath with special additives. Subsequently, the condoms are treated with a silicone emulsion and skin-friendly powder in a specialized washing machine. Finally, they are dried in a high-performance centrifuge, where the remaining powder film is evenly distributed.

Throughout and after the production process, a multitude of quality tests are performed: burst volume and pressure, tensile strength and elongation, tightness, and electronic individual testing with the 100% hole test.
